Wtf???
While on my way to find the Monk Boss Myd Springclaw to get that accursed Shield of Judgment spell for my 55 monk, I happened to notice that armour at the Granite Citidel cost about 15K apiece, and uses vast amounts of materials that could feed a village for a week, but had the SAME stats as Droks armour,.
Has Anet one Crazy? or are Villagers just sick of eating Parchment?? Plz respond.

zomg no!
15k armor has the same stats as 1.5k armor as it is just a money sink for the grind-fans to splash out to show how amazing they are at doing something really brainless repeatedly for in-game gold (read: farming)
If it was better it would kind of ruin the philosophy that GW is skill > time spent. (Although it would be wrong to deny that the game does require a certain amount of grind)

lol where have you been?
the purpose of 15k armor is that it looks different from Droks... its a status symbol to say "Hey... look at what I can afford to wear."

I smell a closed thread coming up.
Please read guides before posting. It is old information and all you are doing is wasting bandwidth and time of posters.

It's a money sink yes, but dont assume just because someone has it they do something 'really brainless repeatedly' to show how amazing they are.
I bought mine because I didn't have anything else to spend my money on, so I thought why not. I dont farm. I've gone to areas hoping to make money or find something good, but I'd get bored of it too quickly to actually farm areas.

It's a money sink. There is no uber armor. Fissure of Woe armor, or "Obsdian Armor," has the same stats as the armor from Droknar's Forge also. And next time, make a REAL title for your thread instead of "Wtf??" That doesn't help anybody know if they should read it or not. Closed.
